And finally yesterday night, and a couple of days before exiting the habitat, the crew will have some fresh green vegetables to eat. The crew had the chance to try some of the homegrown lettuce.

For future missions we plan to grow tomatoes and other vegetables and have them ready to eat during the entire mission.
